The Warren Arts Council invites you to an evening under the stars to enjoy and delight in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.
Co-Opera take you on a trip back in time to 18th century tastes and manners with an occasional tongue in cheek reminder of the 20th century. Co-Opera’s familiar theatrical daring carries it through the plots and counterplots that lead
up to the Marriage of Figaro with colour and style.
Figaro and Susanna are going to be married. However, before they take their vows there are a few wrinkles to iron out, such as a master with a roving eye, a mistress with a broken heart and a matron with a prior claim.
Please join with us to witness one of Mozart’s finest operas performed in English and watch out for the biting satire behind the brilliance.
The performance will be held at Victoria Oval on Sunday March 13. Gates open at 6pm for a 7pm start. Bring your own supper/drinks/rug/chair. Alcohol is permitted.
Tickets are available from Weigela Design at $30 prepaid, $35 at the gate or student concession $10.
