 New operations officer for RFS 

New operations officer for RFS

Inspector Mark Mulheron commenced work with the North West Zone and Bogan District Rural Fire Service (RFS) on Wednesday October 14 as operations officer.

Prior to joining the RFS as staff Mr Mulheron worked for the NSW Attorney General’s Department. This included spending time at Coonamble and working from the court house there covering the Walgett, Coonamble and Coonabarabran shire areas as well as some of the Brewarrina Shire area up into Goodooga. He was most recently employed as the acting regional manager for the North Region of the Attorney General’s Department based in Tamworth.

Mr Mulheron has served as a volunteer with the RFS since 1990, having held various positions within the service including captain, training officer and deputy group captain. He will be based out of the Nyngan Fire Control Centre and can be contacted during office hours on 6832 2400.
