Damion Crawford is involved in Jamaican politics and serves in one of the major political parties in the country. Sophia Lowe hopes to one day impact a positive view of her country through the political arena while being a successful professional environmental engineer, wife and mother.
Danette Nelson, a retail banker, is proud of her Jamaican heritage and is always willing to share facts about her country. She said the visit to Australia had been amazing with so much to see.
“We have had a wonderful time, people have been fantastic and the warmth and hospitality of everyone has been fabulous” said Ms Nelson.
“Rotary sponsors young professionals who can apply for reciprocal cultural and vocational exchange programs; sharing of cultures is very important and we are very happy for the opportunity.”
