Society looks for war memorabilia

02 Feb, 2012 09:44 AM
Warren Historical Society will be holding its first meeting of the year next Monday February 6 which will be followed by a short meeting of the ANZAC sub-committee.

Hope to see you there at 6pm at the Endeavour Hall.

The society is still asking for community members who may have medals, shrapnel, letters, photos or any war memorabilia to contact John Burke, Patricia Christoff, Len Woolnough, Ian McKay or Lianne Clark.

Have you visited any war cemetery overseas such as Gallipoli and taken photos of a family member’s headstone?

The society would be interested in viewing and maybe exhibiting these.
