It is eligible for women over 40 and is a free service to help women detect breast cancer in its early stages.
One of the many benefits of the breastscreen mobile van is that it enables the program to go into the communities for a quick and easy check up. The screen can take up to 15 minutes and is done by trained female radiographers with the latest technology. Bookings are essential, appointments can be made by phoning 13 14 50.
