Young local footy star Larissa Kennedy has proved her prowess on the running track taking home six medals and winning the under seven girls age championship at the Cathy Peachey Indigenous Athletics Carnival at Dubbo on Sunday.
Larissa was first in the 50 metres, first in 70 metres and first in the 100 metre events as well as claiming second in the long jump and third in the shot put.
To finish off a good day the young star won the hurdles in record time taking the 2007 record from 10:03 to 9:54 seconds. Congratulations Larissa.
