Saturday was a good day of golf with all the boys from Regional Auto Dubbo.

Men’s scratch winners were George Darcy and Guy Ridley on 67 with Mick Connelly and Denis Wilson taking out the runners up prize on 69.
John McKay and Bruce Atlee won the handicap event with 70-59 1/2, with runners up Ken Connelly and Richard Adams 74-64 1/2.
Ladies scratch winners were Kaye Martin and Deb Kentwell on 73 with Rhonda Darcy and Penny Russ-Smith runners up with 78. Handicap honours went to Robyn Downey and Christine Trudgett 81-67 1/2 with Barb Laws and Marg Davies 81-70 3/4 runners up on a countback from Alison Payne and Ruby Fowler.
Nearest the pin were Penny Russ-Smith on the fourth, Denis Wilson on the 13th, Alison Payne on the 16th and Guy Ridley took out the 18th.

Sunday was the Warren Joinery and Hardware trophy day, which is also the men’s MFS NSW 4BBB qualifier and coming from a win on Saturday were George Darcy and Guy Ridley on 48 points. Runners up in a three-way countback on 47 were Kevin Taylor and Greg Kentwell and third went to Kenneth and Mick Connelly.
Ball winners were Todd Whalan and Geoffrey Stephens. Nearest the pins went to Kenneth Connelly on the fourth, Dennis Foodey on the 13th, John Martin took out the 16th and the money hole and Greg Kentwell the 18th.

This weekend is the men’s championships over two days with names to be in by Friday night at 6pm. The Calcutta starts at 6.30pm and tickets are on sale Friday night.
