Nine golfers had a hit in the 18-hole event on Wednesday with Pam Laws the winner.
Trish McAlary came second on minus one and Ruby Fowler minus two was third.
The White Horse trophy day attracted a field of 13 for the 18-hole stroke event on Saturday and congratulations to winner Alison Payne on 66. Deb Kentwell was second on 69 and Barb Laws 70 third. Nearest the pin prizes went to Shirley Walker on the fourth, Alison Payne on the 13th, Daphne Calvert on the 16th and Marg Kentwell took out the 18th.
Saturday is closing day for women’s golf and the game will be a 12-hole stroke with two clubs plus a putter allowed. Bring a trophy and win a trophy to the value of $10. Cost is $10 per player and nominations close at 4.30pm for a 5pm shotgun start. Wear pink and support breast cancer research.
Presentations will take place on Monday November 23 with a Christmas dinner at the golf club. Cost is $25 per head and the festivities start at 6.30pm. It is hoped all ladies come along to enjoy the night. Dress is ‘Op Shop’ formal attire and there will be prizes for the best dressed. A courtesy bus will also be available.
