After four weeks of competition there only two teams undefeated in the Auscott Summer Golf Competition - Quigs Queens (No 8) and Debs Demons (No 1).
They are both on 32 points, closely followed by Bears Bums (No 2) who had their first loss this week at the hands of Quigs Queens, and also with only one loss Foodies Rawhides (No 4).
These two teams are each on 28 points.
On 24 points are Benny Ho’s Dragon Hearts (No 3), Pappies Plodders (No 6), Michael McKay’s Big Hitters (No 7) and Ruby’s Barms (No 10). Pam’s Try Hards (No 9) are on 20 points with the final two teams Mick Martin’s Coppers (No 11) on 19 points and at the rear guard Kaye Martin’s BMWs on 16 points (bearing in mind that they have not had the bye yet which is an automatic win).
Winners of round four, a Canadian Foursome sponsored by Ford and Janet Rowe, were Pam and George Laws with a great score of net 38 and only one shot behind were Dave Hatton and Paul Shipton.
Unlucky pair of the day were Pappy Fitzgerald and Brad Connelly who were only half a shot behind in third place and to add insult to injury their team got beaten as well.
Round five is a 4BBB stableford sponsored by Benny and Amy Ho.
Don’t forget to put in your diaries the presentation night, which will be on Friday March 19 at the golf club.
It is always a great night and we would like as many people as possible to attend.
