The final of the club fours was played with the winners Bob Kelly, Ray Sayers, Brian Robertson and Les Fowler who defeated Richard, Stewart and Daniel Stanley and Mark Cooney in a close and exciting game 19/17.
Thursday winners again included a learner who is playing great bowls, Josh Kylms, as well as Eric Brigden. Sunday winners were Eric Brigden, Peter Wilson and Harry Henare.
Bowls are on again this Thursday and Sunday with a 10am start.
This Saturday at 5pm we have social bowls for everyone including bowlers with a sausage sizzle and later club championship badges given out; so everyone please come along and make it an enjoyable evening.
It is the last call for your teams for three bowl pairs and also nominate your team for the mixed pairs before the sheet comes down.
Friday night bowls is going into the sixth week with two teams out in front. IGA and the Could Bes are on 20 points with two on 19 points, the Idiots and Stanleys.
