Five enthusiastic swimmers from Warren Amateur Swimming Club travelled over 600kms to compete in the 2010 Country Regional Meet at Albury, along with two wonderful cheer squad members Courtney Marks and Erin Brouff.
First off the blocks was Matthew Brouff in the 200m freestyle and he picked up a bronze medal.
Matthew also took home silver in 100m freestyle and gold in 50m butterfly, 100m fly, 50m backstroke and 50m free.
James Brouff received a bronze for his effort in 50m fly, silver in 50m breast stroke and 50m free, and gold for 50m back, and 100m breast. Matthew Marks took home bronze in the 100m back and 50m fly, gold in 200m individual medley, 50m breast, 100m fly and 100m breast.
Joseph Marks won silver in the 100m freestyle and 100m breast, and bronze in 100m fly.
Brittany Marks was presented with a gift of encouragement from one of the major sponsors of the event.
Overall, everyone had a great and successful weekend, smashing their personal best times by as much as 10 seconds in some of their events.
