Eleven members of the Warren Swimming Club travelled to Gulargambone on Sunday for the annual sprint carnival.
The short 25-metre pool meant the swimmers had to, as coach Wendy would say, “kick those legs off” and that they did.
The results were as follows. Bella Noonan was first in backstroke smashing the pool record by more than two seconds.
She was second in butterfly, second in breast-stroke and third in freestyle. Brittany Marks was third in back and third in free.
Libby Noonan was third in free, third in fly and second in back. Joseph Marks placed third in free, second in fly, second in breast and third in back.
Maggie Noonan was second in breast. Matthew Marks came third in free, second in breast and third in back.
Hugo Weston was first in fly. Matthew Brouff was first in free breaking the pool record by almost a second, second in back and second in fly.
Teah Stephens finished second in the individual medley, second in free, second in fly, first in breast and second in back.
The other competitors on the day were William and Bindy Fuller.
