Six very excited and enthusiastic swimmers travelled to Canberra to represent the Western Districts at the James Brophy Carnival.
They were Matthew Marks, Joseph Marks, Maggie Noonan, Libby Noonan, James Brouff and Matthew Brouff.
Competition was fierce with Warren swimmers achieving personal bests to win 7 gold, 2 silver, and a bronze in their individual events.
The final results of the day were:
Matthew Marks 1st in breast, 2nd in back, 7th in fly.
Joseph Marks 3rd in breast, 4th in free, 12th in back.
Libby Noonan 1st in back, 5th in free, 5th in fly, 10th in breast.
Maggie Noonan 7th in breast, 4th in fly, 8th in free.
James Brouff 1st in free, back, and breast, and 5th in fly.
Matthew Brouff 1st in free and back and 2nd in fly.

On March 13, Warren swimmers, Matthew and Joseph Marks, Libby Noonan, and Matthew Brouff swam in the speedo sprint finals
competition at Homebush in Sydney.
Each age group had sixty elite NSW competitors to contend with for the medals.
All competitors swam well achieving P.B’s throughout the carnival.
Matthew Brouff brought home two silvers for the day in fly and back.
